THURSDAY LUNCHEON KEYNOTE SPEAKER - Keith Bardney


The featured Keynote Speaker, Keith Bardney, is the Lead Consultant and Coach for KYB Consulting and Coaching (KYBCC) and author of
the book: Creating A Zero-Incident Culture: Getting employees to work safely when management is
not around. Keith is known for guaranteeing safety results through a proven safety system and laser focused
activities in terms of getting employees engaged in the safety process by taking ownership, forming selfdirected
teams, assisting with goal setting, identifying areas of risk and developing safety solutions in a team
environment. His ultimate vision is to take a culture from a dependent stage to an independent stage and
finally to an interdependent stage.
Keith has his CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation and is an active member of the American
Society of Safety Engineers. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety from Illinois State University,
and has a Master’s degree in OSH/Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University. Overall,
he has been in the food industry for 33 years handling health and safety for over 28 of those years. Keith
established KYBCC in 1997. His work experience also includes quality control, research and development,
production supervision and human resource management.

Attendees receive the most up-to-date information immediately applicable to the workplace.
